Aleksandar Mladenovic is appointed as new President of the Serbian Australian Centre, bringing a wealth of cultural awareness and leadership capabilities to drive high-impact initiatives in response to the community’s aspirations and vitality. Supported by a strong team of young, talented, and capable volunteers that form part of the Centre’s Committee, Aleksandar is consistently building strategies to protect and strengthen the Centre’s offerings, reputation, mission, and values.
His motivation and passion to volunteer his time come from the desire for the club to grow and thrive, becoming a hub that embodies the essence of every club member. Aleksandar envisions a dynamic and inclusive space where an increasing number of people frequent the club, turning it into a symbol of the collective identity of its members.
Aleksandar’s ideology revolves around fostering growth, creating, and establishing the club as a manifestation of each member’s connection to their Serbian culture. His goal is to facilitate opportunities for community members of all ages to stay engaged with their Serbian heritage through affordable family, cultural, social, and musical events and gatherings.
